For real estate investors, potential home buyers worried about mortgage rates or current home owners looking to either refinance or sell, the economic data to be released in the upcoming week will most certainly have some degree of impact.
This data could have a direct effect on interest rates or perhaps spur speculation on the future intentions of the Federal Reserve in terms of tapering but, one way or another, there is likely going to be significant action.
Add to the mix current global turmoil including Russian forces massing on the border of Ukraine, potential future global turmoil and the flight to quality into US government paper that would go along with it, and the foundation has been set for an interesting week ahead.
This is the chart of the US economic data to be released during the week of March 31, 2014 that includes any speeches scheduled to be given by various Federal Reserve Governors along with the scheduled treasury auction calendar!
