US Economic Calendar for the Week of May 19, 2014
For anyone who’s concerned with the overall direction of interest rates, mortgage rates and/or the overall strength of the US economy, the data scheduled to be released in the upcoming week will most certainly provide some strong clues about them all.
This data will be issued in conjunction with any potential comments concerning Fed intentions, real or imagined, that might come out of the mouths of members of the Federal Open Market Committee, several of whom are scheduled to speak publicly next week.
Given both of these sources of information, there is likely going to be significant action in the bond markets as a result.
Finally, add to this mix the continued global turmoil particularly in Russia and Ukraine, the impact it may have on commodity prices and the FOREX market, and the table has been set for an interesting week ahead!
