US Economic Calendar for the Week of April 28, 2014
For participants in the real estate market concerned with the direction of mortgage rates, the economic data to be released in the upcoming week will most certainly have some degree of impact on their plans.
The economic or geopolitical news could have a direct effect on interest rates or could possibly spur market speculation on the future tapering intentions of the Federal Reserve but, in one way or another, there is likely going to be significant action in the bond markets as a result.
Add to the mix continued global turmoil particularly in Russia and Ukraine, its impact on commodity prices and currencies, and the foundation has been set for an interesting week ahead!
Courtesy of Econoday this is the chart of the US economic data to be released during the week of April 28, 2014, highlighted by the Employment Report for April to be released on Friday with a consensus estimate for 215,000 non-farm payroll jobs to have been created and the unemployment rate to have declined to 6.6%.
