Jericho, Long Island’s One North Restaurant, Developed By Anthony Scotto Restaurants, And The Heroes To Heroes Foundation Connect For Charity!
For anyone on Long Island who might not recognize the Anthony Scotto Restaurants name, the organization also owns and runs the incredibly successful dining and drinking establishments RARE650, Blackstone Steakhouse and Insignia.
And, having watched One North develop into the beautiful finished product it is now from the shell of the historic Maine Maid Inn, there is no doubt it will join the others as a go-to destination for those looking for a fine dining experience or simply a place to go for drinks after work or on a Friday or Saturday night!
But there’s more to One North, President Anthony Scotto and Anthony Scotto Restaurants than just food and drink. There is also very generous philanthropy for three charities who will benefit from the restaurants first week!
One of those charities is the combat veterans 501(c)(3) Heroes To Heroes Foundation that, through an extremely unique program based in spirituality and peer support, successfully helps vets who have attempted suicide or where the fear is that such an attempt is imminent. In addition Heroes To Heroes Blue in 2018 will provide the same support for our active-duty police who tragically suffer from suicide issues as well.
One North Is Donating To The Heroes To Heroes Foundation!
Opening on November 13th, One North plans to donate proceeds from the first week to charity at a presentation taking place during an invitation only event on November 19th!
Heroes To Heroes Foundation cannot thank One North and those who made the decision to include us enough for choosing our organization to participate. The donation that they make will significantly move the needle and allow us to help those American heroes who have sacrificed so much so that the rest of us can pursue the American dream in peace!
