For those of you who are too young to remember a 1979 commercial from the brokerage firm, Smith Barney, the short video below is a reminder of the famous tagline that described the way that the company developed new business and treated its clients.

Hard work, integrity, attention to detail, a high quality product and by putting clients needs ahead of its own!

So on this Tuesday just before Thanksgiving what is it that inspires me to write about the subject of a company ultimately earning an opportunity, through results and reputation, to show a prospect the way they do business?

An opportunity that will hopefully turn that prospect into a loyal client?

It was an article in today’s Newsday that was discussing the corruption trial for a disgraced New York State politician and his son with a witness who was testifying concerning the role of his title insurance company in all of it.

It described what sounded like a classic pay to play scenario that in the past has apparently been legend in the title insurance industry. A methodology for ‘earning’ business that is hopefully being weeded out, leveling the playing field for all players involved.

The bottom-line? Hallmark Abstract Service will continue to do business in the same way that we have since opening our doors in 2008…Hard work, integrity, attention to detail and putting clients needs ahead of our own!
