Genting Group and a Tuxedo, New York Casino Approval
On April 28th we reported that the Genting Group was making a pitch to the Town Board in Tuxedo, New York looking to win approval to build a casino complex there.
New York Casino Update
The Times Herald-Record in Middletown is reporting that a town board in Hudson Valley has approved a resolution which will allow the Malaysian-based Genting Group to build a resort casino on a 238-acre site. The site is presently home to the Tuxedo Ridge Ski Center and the New York Renaissance Faire.
The Genting Group operates the Resorts World Casino New York City at the Aqueduct Racetrack. The company wants to build a casino and two hotels in Tuxedo, located on the Rockland County border 40 miles north of New York City. (Source)Google+
