The residential apartment complex known as Interlace in Singapore is extremely unique in its appearance and, at first glance, may seem to be haphazard and disjointed in its design!
It is comprised of 31 six-story buildings that the architect, Ole Scheeren, sought to design outside of the classic Singapore mold that’s been described as ‘self-referential, isolated, vertical extrusions that leave very little sense of community.’
Whatever your opinion of the architectural design of Interlace may be, it has certainly broken the traditional Singapore mold described above.
So then the question is, are you a fan of the design, not a fan or couldn’t care less either way?
